Presidential Scholarship – Requirements: 3.4 GPA, 25+ ACT, 1130+ SAT; Covers: tuition, fees, room & board, and books
Robert T. Mason Scholarship - Requirements: 3.2 GPA, 20-24 ACT, 970-1120 SAT; Covers: tuition and fees
Transfer Scholarship - Requirements: 3.0 GPA, 60+ Hours; Covers: $1,250.00 per semester
Grants
Taylor Grant - Requirements: 3.0 GPA, 18-20 ACT, 850-970 SAT; Covers: 1\2 Tuition
Pell Grant – need based grant offered to eligible under graduate students. Pell Grant Awards range from $488.00-$5,350.00.
Academic Competiveness Grant - awarded to U.S Citizens and eligible non-citizens who are Pell Grant recipients, enrolled at least half time in a four year degree program. Year 1 college students are awarded up to $750.00; year 2 college students up to $1,300.00. College juniors and seniors are not eligible for this grant.
National Smart Grant - awarded to U.S Citizens and eligible non-citizens who are Pell Grant recipients, enrolled at least half time in a four year degree program that have reached at least Junior level status having 60 hours or more. Award value is up to $4,000.00 with a maximum award time frame of two years(4 academic semesters).
Loans
Federal Subsidized - A loan for which a borrower is not responsible for the interest while in an in-school, grace, or deferment status.
Federal Unsubsidized - A loan for which the borrower is fully responsible for paying the interest regardless of the loan status. Interest on unsubsidized loans accrues from the date of disbursement and continues throughout the life of the loan.
Parent (PLUS) - loans available to parents to help pay the educational costs of a dependent student who is enrolled at least half-time. The fixed rate for Federal PLUS Loans will be 8.50%. If applicable, parents may borrow up to the total cost of assistance less other financial aid.
Work Study
On and off campus jobs are available for students. The program is designed to give students an opportunity to earn money to help pay for educational expenses. Students are paid monthly at the federal minimum wage rate. They may work up to 15 hours a week and are paid on the 15th of each month.
