This year Philander Smith College identified 50 students who have the caliber to be Presidential Scholars for us.  Of the 50 only 12 will actually receive this benefit.  Please see our first of the 12 students who have been distinguished as a 2009-10 Presidential Scholar.

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM  New Students Check-in at Welcome Center, Harry R. Kendall Center

New students will receive their keys and orientation materials. (Student must have clearance card. If the card is not at the Welcome Center, student must come to the Admissions Office for clearance. All financial requirements must be completed befoe receiving room keys)

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM  Lunch on Front Lawn

Important Reminders!

As you prepare to arrive on campus in August 15, 2009, ALL students must complete (or bring with you) all requirements before you can register for Fall 2009 and move into the residence hall (If applicable):

  • Completed admissions application (official high school transcript or official college transcript, fee, ACT/SAT, and immunization record).
  • Completed FAFSA application. Visit www.philandersmithadmissions.com to complete your FAFSA and download your PSC Financial Aid Application. Any questions, contact (501) 370-5350.
  • Full payment of all charges is due at the time of registration. However, you may elect to pay 40% at registration and defer the balance ($100 fee for this option).
  • Receipt for Room Reservation Fee ($235) and Official ID (Driver’s License, State ID, School ID or Passport).
